About the Book

This book is about three friends (Andre, Shawn, and Rashad) that is going through everyday life struggles but find themselves getting closer to God without knowing it and how their lives starts to affect the ones around them. Andre is dealing with issues with his mother and her boyfriend. Shawn is battling between his street life and school life. Rashad is fighting to stay in his daughter’s life. Join them as they take you through their lives and show you how their personal issues leads to a new beginning. In order to escape a nightmare, you have to chase a dream. Everybody has a story…what is yours?

About the Author

My name is Antwane Berrian. I am 25 years old and I am from Valdosta, Georgia. Ever since the age of fifteen I have had the desire to write. My dream is to be a professional screenwriter. I create stories that everyone can relate to. I take everyday issues that we all face and bring them alive for my readers to read. This story represents the issues that the young black community goes through. From the peer pressure to the personal problems at home, this story takes you through the minds of the teens of today. It does not matter who you are or what you do, everybody has a story. I feel like this is the beginning of me telling them.
