About the Book

Women are the same no matter where they come from or what their experiences in life might be. There is a bond, a sisterhood, among women, and their issues transcend time, geography and cultural barriers. This book was written to show modern twenty first century women that the Bible is still contemporary. As such, the stories and lessons contained within it are as relevant today as they were thousands of years ago. There are so many examples in the Bible of ordinary women who dealt with extraordinary issues and suffered a lot of pain. These issues are still happening to women today. This book uncovers what the Bible has to say about rape, loneliness, sexuality and love, both romantic love and a mother’s enduring love. The stories of these amazing women will help you to understand that the Bible itself contains everything you need to know in order to live as God intended you to live. The lives of eight Biblical women are examined and their stories are told using easy to understand and simple language. These are told from a female perspective, and the characters are brought to life through vivid imagery. This book offers an insight into their lives as real people and as vibrant physical, spiritual and emotional beings. It also attempts to show how they may have actually felt, reacted or coped with their situations. This book seeks to clearly show that God is always the same and never changes. Be blessed as you discover the characters behind each of the eight women whose remarkable lives are revealed in this book, and know that you too can have a brand new beginning.
