To tell the truth, they were quite impressed with their son. They turned to each other and smiled when they saw Cam wipe her tears away with his nose. The young female blinked and smiled at him. The young male puffed himself up a little, turned to his mom and dad and said "she lost her parents in that big storm, I said we'd try to help, I think her name is Evie and have you ever heard of a place called Australia?"

About the Book
The Adventures of Billy the Whale shows children, “it's OK to be different or the odd one out.” No matter how different you are, you look or you feel, there is always someone out there that will think of you as special to them, and want to be your friend, or want to love you. “It's OK to be special!”
About the Author
Billy’s adventures go back 30 years or more to when Rena’s children were small and, as a hobby, she made toys for school fêtes and friends. She made a big blue fluffy whale that was a real hit with children both big and small, so her children gave it a name, and bedtime or rainy day stories about this whale started from there. Her credentials on story telling are that she had 3 children and, at the last count, 8 grandchildren.
