About the Author
Clarice Priscilla Ingraham ne Rolle, affectionately known as 'Cla', resides in Garden’s Hills # 1, at 24 Beaumontia Avenue, on the Island of New Providence, Bahamas. She was born in the quaint picturesque settlement of Mount Thompson, located on the main land of Great Exuma. Great and Little Exuma is situated one hundred and twenty miles southeast of New Providence. There are over one hundred and sixty cays on the north and south sides of Exuma. In 1957, the House of Assembly declared a large portion of the necklace-like chain of the Exuma a Bahamian National Park. These cays are called the Exuma Cays. Mrs. Ingraham is a Registered Nurse, Midwife and a Community Health Nurse. She began her career in 1969 at the Bahamas School of Nursing, obtained a diploma in nursing in June 1973, became a certified midwife in June 1981 and obtained a certificate in Community Nursing in August 1987. Since training as a registered nurse, Midwife, she worked in most of The Bahama Islands including Abaco, Eleuthera, Exuma, North Andros, Bimini, Great Harbour Cay, Ragged Island, and Grand Bahama and in all of the clinics in New Providence .Clarice earned her MBA degree in Public Administration from the McHari Institute in November 2003. As a Senior Nursing Officer, she is presently the Nursing Team Leader at Flamingo Gardens Clinic Nassau the Bahamas. She is a widow; the proud mother of three wonderful children, two daughters and one son; and grandmother of four lovely grand children, three girls and one boy. She is a born again Christian and has a personal relationship with The Lord Jesus Christ. Clarice attends the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship. Clarice has a heart for all families; she takes every opportunity to teach, give advice and assist groups, conferences, schools and individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyle. Her hobbies are sewing, dancing, cooking and observing others.
