About the Book
“My uncle Sonny,a wonderful man who had such an influence on my brother Martin and I when we were kids growing up in Govan. You can only marvel at his wit and observation of life in his times. Goodness me, when you read of Govan you know every meaning of them because having grown up there in that era, you saw it all, but fortunately someone called Sonny Devine manages to put it into a different and beautiful language.”
