Pine Needle Pedro

Evergreen Park was Pedro’s favorite place in the whole wide world.  Everyday when Pedro entered the park, he would take off his shoes and jacket and reach behind a colossal evergreen tree where he secretly kept his special skinny stick. With baton in hand and arms raised, the little boy was transformed into a free spirited orchestra conductor.  Instantly, he began to hop, dance, and roll to the mesmerizing beat.  Pedro laughed as his feet created a crunchy noise from the pine needles, which tickled the bottom of his bare feet.  It was that very crunchy crackling noise that signaled to the park animals that their human friend Pedro was dancing nearby.
