About the Author
Lisa Mehornay was born in 1928 in Leipzig,Germany.She grew up during the tyranny of Hiltler and the Nazi regime.In her childhood she had to join the Jungmadel Hitler Youth Movement.She later became a civil air defense spotter in Salsburg,Austria to protect innocent people.She immigrated to the United States of America thru Ellis Island in New York.She learned English,graduated from college,and raised a family.She has been inspirational to many people while maintaining a strong faith and love of life.Her amazing story,personality,and character are truly remarkable.
