“Look at me, woman!” he ordered.
When she didn’t answer he remembered that the girl didn’t hear him, he shook her one more time to bring her face up to look at him, then he pushed her away from him and caged her between himself and the wall. “Where have you been?” he tried to ask in her language.
“Can we at least discuss this upstairs?"
“No! Need I ask my question one more time?”
“I was in Helena!” she lied.
“Helena? Alone?” he asked the little woman in front of him in disbelief.
She only nodded in response to the question.
