About the Book

Daydreamer is based on a true-like story about a boy with a busy imagination.  His name is Obie Braves.  Obie is a bright 10-year old boy. He enjoys listening to the positive things in a person’s life.  Whenever Obie hears something interesting about the achievements of someone-his mind will wonder.  Obie will vision himself as that person.  Obie is a boy who will let his mind daydream with positive ideas that any kid can vision.  Relax and read the book.  It will take you some place where  you will daydream.

About the Author

There is a new entrepreneur out there who is shaping her dream into reality.  She is Rose Holiman.  She was the founder of African Americans of Washington Children’s Books in 1998.  She distributed over 100 titles from about ten national publishers.   A book distribution business was the perfect option for her.  “This way I get to go out there and meet people, see what they want and make sure the books are available”.   Rose’s books are very positive and everyone can learn from them.  They present heroes for children-we have got to create a positive world for our next generation.  A Seattle native, Rose has always been interested in working with children for over 20 years.  As a high school student she wrote and illustrated a children’s book and hasn’t lost interest in doing her own projects.  Rose has designed 2-n-1 Diversadolls. They are 2-sided 14” cloth dolls, each side a different ethnic.  These dolls are specially geared to bi-racial family environments.  One of Rose’s greatest dreams is to publish her own work—in a big way.  A lot of her motivation comes from her daughter Nailah.
