He turned to walk away and suddenly fell flat on his face, he swiftly got to his feet and turned to see who or what had tripped him over, there was no sign of another animal but he had noticed he was covered in dirt and right before him was a mound of dark, soft brown soil “where did that come from?” he said as he moved closer and gave the earthy heap a cautious sniff and hastily backed off still staring at it “I’ve never seen anything like it” he thought.
