If I have been here before....? Have I been here before...? Have I walked theses streets...? Have I seen you aleadfy...? Have I watched this so many times previous...? Was there always so much anger and pain...? Was it always this cold...? Was there always so may lies and deceit...? I think I have been here before.... I remmber the floweres and the big strong proud oak trees.... I remmber the love and support... I remmber the hope for the future... But now I'm here again... The streets full of dirt and pain... The flowers and tress in all there beauty gone, for what...? Greed, Money, Coporation and power.... The love and support has turned to ragine wars full of insent blood spilled... For more power and control... The future.... A generration of people to blind to help... To consumed with materialistic things to see the true beauty and happiness in the littlest things all around us... A future... Of coldness, War, Dictatrtship and hate... When did this happen....? Is it to late to change...? End

About the Book
Inside and Outside the prison of my mind is about the unique feelings and emotions from a day to day basis from dealing with depression, Sexual assault, Society in the modern world and finally the hope and love and inner strength to overcome it all and find the light at the end of a dark tunnel to move on. I wrote this book of poetry over many years and collected here for the 1st time. I hope you enjoy the poems and if you find hope, strength or support through them then that is more than I could have hoped for
About the Author
My name is Patricia Dawn I am in my early 20's, I have been written these perticular pieces included in my book from the age of 15. I started writing my Poetry as a out lit, Were I could express myself and reminisce on how I feel. I never orginally did etend to publish but soem years on I feel this is a benefical stage to progress on too. This book means a lot to me as I suffer from manic depression for a few years now. I am now in a stronger place were I would like to share my thoughts and feelings. In the hope that it may help others not feel so alone. I also hope that it provokes people to think and maybe look at somethings a little differently.
