About the Book
A humorous and amusing collection of fun poems.
Foxes over the centuries have always held a huge fascination, from beauty to deceit to why they pursue their underhand cunning ways.
Free from any purpose, my poems show this little predatore taking on the human form, their ingenuity can only be admired their talent applauded like a superstar..
My poetry has a wickedly humorous twist, from sombre to outrageous as this little trader treads the footpath of humaneness .
About the Author
Nicky Burrough, who was born in 1958, is a mother of six and a farmer’s wife. She has held a life long spellbinding charm with the fox, from hunted to the frustration of this predator killing her chicken and mutilating new born lambs. Yet no finer sight than seeing this reticent creature immersed in the sun, with his coat fuse a radiant glow of autumnal imagery
After many years travelling the world with her cameras the shy creature evaded her camera many a time. After years of trying for that exclusive photograph, the fascination took the form of poetry and art. Art and poetry became the great escape from obsession. What better way than to combine a passion for words and a compassion for this wirily little creature.
