About the Book
Emotions and feelings are often hidden due to embarrassment or ignorance until they become taboo. Social idealism has no room for them as we all strive for perfection. Unexpressed, they become a hindrance to our everyday lives, taking over our need for rational thought. The human mind stalls when trying to comprehend matters beyond its control. We often launch in before opening the door to our vast library of sentiment. For many this is a cold, dark place to avoid but for others it is a chance to explore.
About the Author
Having to deal with Dyslexia, Irlen Syndrome and being on the austistic spectrum, Tom has always found dreaming easy but implementing these dreams very dificult. With his mind racing at one hundred miles an hour and no recognised outlet for this creative energy, he felt frustrated and neglected by a society demanding conformity. One autumn day, inspired by a walk in the Lake District, he decided to place his thoughts on paper. Dipicting his life through verse, he has now found the outlet for these feelings and emotions. They are now laid bare in this fascinating collection of poems.
