Patience and understanding the needs of another species allowed the author to experience the true elements of nature and nurture.

Laura Tyler is a certified professional dog trainer and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers. She is also an associate member of the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. Through her business, Total Teamwork Training llc, Laura works with families to help integrate the family dog into each individual family lifestyle. Positive reinforcement utilizing relationship building, proper and consistent management, teaching and training help to develop communication between dogs and their people. This philosophy allowed the author to help another species using a basic understanding of how animals can learn.
