About the Author

Mark A. McBride, M.D. is a native of Franklin County who earned his medical degree from E.V.M.S. in Norfolk, Virginia and completed his pediatric residency at the University of Louisville.  Dr. McBride then returned to Roanoke, Virginia to practice Pediatrics in 1994.  His extracurricular interests are antique collecting, cultivating many varieties of daylilies, writing poetry and playing tennis and racquetball.
