I’m Endless Duty
Screaming children
Death and dismay all around
I stay. Fifthteen months, Days come and go.
Don't know where one starts and the other begins,
Just long for the soil of a free land. My children laughing,
Playing in the pool.
Walking them to class on the first day of school.
BOMB!!
The sound of an I.E.D wakes me
Calling more friends to wings.
A soldier stands strong.
Trading bedtime kisses for a gun in his hand.
His life a constant battlefield.
His heart torn between the duty to his flag,
And the love of his family.
From crying, dying children
To the smiling faces of his.
A soldier’s biggest fight is the one he carries

About the Book
This is a collection of poems about real life experices and the emotions that people go thur. Some are hard to bare and others will make you smile. These poems will make you laugh, cry and go to places you never want to be…they will open your eyes and help some realize they are not alone. Everyone has good days and bad, but it is how we come out of them that makes all the difference.
About the Author
She was born in Newport News, Va.. Lived life like most children do, however had lots of hard time. She grew up fast but thankful for everything life had tought her. She is now a military wife, and a mother of two. Her life exprices have given her the chance to write, to her that is the most powerful thing. Every tear that fell became a word on paper, a voice unable to speak to others. Now she is giving the world her heart and soul. If she can touch just one heart, help one soul, her words will not have been written in vain.
