Kris nodded to her but remained silent for he wished to linger on every word. Finding it difficult to actually linger on anything from the true feeling of joy that was consuming him, he concentrated intently. He thought for a moment if he could look away, perhaps it was the sheer beauty of her that was so distracting, but he simply could not look away as much he tried. So he laid there staring into her beauty and listened.
“God has felt his people slip slowly away from him for some many years now Kris. He has felt them turn away from not only him, but from their fellow man. They have begun to live without belief and without love. This saddens God, and something has to be done to bring people back. To remind them of Gods love for them, to guide them to not only embrace God, but to embrace one another.” She paused for a moment to let Kris' thoughts catch up with him.
Kris nodded in understanding as he gazed up at her. Though what she was saying to him was not something he could understand fully. Kris loved God and man, he had been taught to do so and it felt right to him. Kris did understand that he could not completely understand her full meaning as he was, for the most part, separated from the world and had very little contact with it.
She smiled as she gazed into his eyes. “God is going to do something wonderful Kris, and we want you to be a part of it.”
Kris straightened his body as he searched for the many words floating around in his head trying to ask the right questions “What is God going to do? Why me? Are you really here?” He rushed his questions in one long outburst.
The Angel leaned forward, gently taking her hand, she caressed his cheek. “Hush now Kris, you are safe and on the journey of your life. The girl in your dreams is real and she carries the son of God.”
Tingles shot through Kris' body, he became numb from the words. This could not be real, for the girl in his dreams was not one rejoicing and embraced for the child she carried. The girl in his dreams was being treated cruelly. Had mankind so turned from God and one another so much they would not treasure such a gift?
Thoughts ran through Kris' mind, he wondered if a woman who was carrying the child of God could be treated so poorly, how would a normal traveler be treated? How did people then treat one another? He wondered if he should take his precious Nell on a journey where people would behave so badly to one another.
“Kris?” the Angel now pulled her hand from his cheek and took his hands into hers. “You will be approaching the shore soon and daylight will come. It is your choice to continue on, but we really want you to. We want a witness to this event, somebody who will remind people, tell the world of what is to happen. You are a good man who has not been corrupted by the makings of the world. You are aware by now, we are sure, that God is guiding your way. All you need is the courage to continue on.”
Kris found tears trickling down his cheek; unable to speak he nodded to her words. There was a sense of pride in what she was saying, but there was much sadness in it too. Out of all the people in the world, God found him all the way up at the North Pole. “Please tell me Angel... Please tell me I am not the only one left who believes.”
The Angel giggled as she rose once again to her feet. “No Kris, you are not the only one. Do not wonder why God has chosen you, rejoice in the fact he has.” Her wings expanded with a rush of warm air “We will meet again Kris, in the

The man known by many names, but most common as Santa Claus has found himself merged into one of the most powerful and beautiful holiday celebrations known to man. There has been much speculation as to whom he really was or how he came about, but in fact nobody really knows... until now.
This is the story of a young Norseman named Kris Kringle. His journey across the Ice, sea and foreign lands as he follows a star that shows bright in the sky. A man of faith and virtue, Kris is guided by God, angels, elves and that beautiful star to meet a child who is to be born in a stable.
Being called by God to witness this miraculous event is not the only tale to be told in young Kris's story. He must meet strange people, learn of different cultures, stand face to face with his past and find mystical creatures really do exist. He must discover what he believes and does not believe. In the end all he can hope is you hear his story, feel the love poured into the pages before you and share that love.
When Christmas day comes and you see the presents under the tree, perhaps your first thought will be of one September night, long ago, when a young toy maker witnessed the birth of the son of God.
About the Author
Lee will say she's a simple housewife who loves to tell her “little ones” stories. After many years of writing tall tales and beautiful stories for friends and family, her father asked her to write a book. Encouraged by all the people in her life, she finally put pen to paper, deciding to start with a story she told her nephew long ago.
Raised in the small community of Holbrook, Arizona and later living in the beautiful mountains of Flagstaff, Arizona, she reflects that inspiration is found everywhere, especially from home. In fact you can see the people of her past and present come to life as the characters of her pages.
