Have a Folly Day
What’s a Folly Day? A Folly Day would consist of no homework; no cooking; no cleaning; and no chores, etc. Order pizza for dinner or make macaroni and cheese together, and pop some popcorn and eat on the living room floor; watch movies or play video games; or put on some fun music and rock out. Play air-guitar or dance around aerobic style until you fall over laughing in exhaustion.
Folly Day is your family’s day to forget about the routine and structure of life and just have fun and relax; de-stress. Save the dishes and clean-up for tomorrow. And don’t worry about it; the dishes will wait for you to get around to them later. Set a regular day for Folly and do it consistently, about once a week. The kids will really look forward to and appreciate their fun Folly Day and so will you!!!
