I Had a Dream

About the Book

This children's bedtime story is about a boy and girl who had the same dream. You may find yourself asking the question, "How could two different children have the same exact dream?"  The answer lies in the front and back cover of the book and in the story itself.

Though it may appear to some as fantasy, others see it as nothing but reality.

The Illustrations are hand painted originals by Chong (Kimi) Door.

In addition to the book is the music score and lyrics to the song  "I Had a Dream" in which the story was based on, written by Karen Kite and additional music by Emmy/Tony winner, Michael J. Lewis and transcribed by world's renown transcriptionist, Alison Pryce.

Also included in the book are three fun activities for the children to play. About the Author

Karen Kite, author of "I Had a Dream" was born and raised in Abilene Texas where she resides today. Karen has taught piano and vocal lessons for twelve years and written over five hundred christian songs.

She spent seven years singing and playing the piano and keyboard for various churches and non-profit organizations across Texas and Mexico.  Karen presently owns a music instruction studio teaching a variety of instruments.

She contributes her inspiration for this book and song to her Lord Jesus Christ, her son, Brandon McKelvain and in loving memory of her parents, L.D. and Annalene Kite as well as other family members and friends who have encouraged her.
