About the Author

Lynne Fox-Parrish earned a Ph.D in biological education from the University of Northern Colorado. She is currently an instructor of biology at Aims Community College. Lynne is passionate about wildlife conservation and hopes that Ghost Cats of the Tetons will inspire young people to appreciate all wild animals. She lives in Greeley, Colorado with her husband and two children. Richard R. Jurin is a professor in Environmental Studies and author of a book on Environmental Communication and an upcoming book on Sustainable Living. He has five grandkids who served as inspiration for him in his involvement with these cougar books. Maggie Schafer earned an M.A. degree in environmental science from the University of Northern Colorado. She has worked as a volunteer with The Cougar Fund. She is currently the Development Director for the Rocky Mountain Cat Conservancy. Maggie lives in Boulder, Colorado. Kirsa Sommersted is originally from Denmark. She moved to Colorado in 1988. She has enjoyed painting and drawing since she was a little girl. “With these books I have been able to do more than paint.
