About the Book
This book is about a little raccoon name Cory. He did a bad thing, by disobeying his mother. She told him to stay in the yard however, Cory left the yard after giving in to peer pressure by his friend Trent. They wondered into the forest, Cory and Trent got separated while running away from Willie badger. Cory was now lost in “The Enchanted Forest” and often found himself in a lot of trouble while trying to find his way home. This is an excellent book for pre-school and elementary children. It expresses what can happen when you disobey your parents /guardians. It also informs children how they should communicate with others. It concludes by letting them know that just because you made a mistake, it does not mean that it is the end of the world.
About the Author
Edward Stoglin
Born Ed Stoglin May24th in Tempe, Arizona. I was known as the kid that was curious as a raccoon. I have always been fascinated with the Animal Kingdom. Growing up, I was often seen in pursuit of insects, or slow moving animal. I studied, and pattern myself after several of these wonderful creatures. A poster was created showcasing their magnificent talents.
In 1997,after moving to Georgia, I met Torrie Crawford,Sr.. while working at Edy's Grand Ice Cream Company. I shared with him the project that I was working on called "Cory The Rebellious Raccoon." We became friends and eventually partners. Several years later we met John Coleman, another partner.....and the rest is history.
So I, along with my partners, decided that I should write a book for children about "Lessons In Disobedience."
Torrie Crawford,Sr.
As a co-writer of "The Adventures Of Cory," I feel honored to be working with Ed Stoglin
and John Coleman.
This experience takes me back to when I was growing up as a child. I was always
inquisitive, therefore I was constantly into something. I can remember when I fell out of a
tree that my grandfather told me not to climb in the first place. Cory is the character that
is in every one of us today.
John C. Coleman, Jr.
From day one I saw the potential in this project. My concern was and still is to introduce
Cory and his beliefs, his morals, and his concepts to children and parents both nationally
and internationally. Sales and marketing has always been my passion.
I met Torrie and Ed several years ago through this project. Not only are we business partners but we are also very good friends. I truly believe in what "Cory" is all about.
