Jesus said; “You’ll know them by their fruit.” (Mat 7:20) A genuine experience with Jesus creates a new attitude; a complete change, visible by all. A new creation in Christ. (2 Cor 5:17) Anything less is intellectual and not from the heart. Unless we are 'born-again' - we cannot enter the Kingdom of God. (Jn 3:3-5) It's only by God's grace we have faith; an unearned gift. “The just shall life by faith.” (Gal 3:11) If you don’t know Him – your heart will become hard, faith will fade, and life will be centered on self. But if you live for God and obey as He wills; He shall give you eternal life. Following Christ means total submission. We must love Him more than spouse, children, siblings, parents, land - or we are NOT worthy of Him. (Mat 10:37) (Lk 14:33) All who follow Christ will suffer persecution; the world is at war with God. (2 Tim 3:12) Jesus repeated; “Those who endure to the end, will be saved.” (Mat 10:22) Those who reject Him – will be rejected. (Mat 10:33) Only Jesus Christ can save your soul. Come to God as you are – today is a perfect day to start. There is a moment when it will be too late. Jesus said; “Whoever has, more will be given, and he will have more than enough. But whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.” (Mat 13:12) Faith: it either grows or withers; you’re either closer to God, or separated from Him – forever. (Isa 59:2) You have free will to enter paradise or live in hell. Your choice is your eternal destiny.

Do you lean on, cling to and rely on God? If the answer is no – may this book inspire you to do so. The way you live your life, is a testimony of what you believe about God. The story of one woman; lost in sin; she believed in God and thought she was saved, but she didn't know Jesus, thus - she was Separated from God. Her journey is shared for those who are not born-again; who think as she did. Or those who think they're too sinful for God's love - no one is. And the church goers, who think by works alone their saved - they're not. Written to glorify God and help the lost find the Cross. It is God's will we all know Him through Jesus Christ and receive His Spirit and life. The LORD said; "I will judge each of you according to your ways. Repent and turn from all sin, that causes punishment. Make yourselves a new heart and a new spirit. For I take no pleasure in anyone's death." (Ezk 18:30-32) Honestly ask yourself – do you know God's love? Are you a slave to addictions, lost in dark desires? Do you put everyone and everything before God? Do you stand apart from unbelievers, or blend in? Why should you be welcomed in heaven? Are you sure you're saved? Jesus said; "You must be born-again to see OR enter the Kingdom of God." (Jn 3:3-8) Only by faith and God's Word, will Jesus reveal Himself and give you eternal life! "Don't be afraid…I will have compassion on you with an everlasting love, say's the LORD, your Redeemer." (Isa 54:4, 8)
About the Author
Laura's first pubished work is a poem in the collection - 'Twilight Musings.' Winning 'Editor's Choice' - it was selected to be read over music on CD. Though her under-aged daughter took and entered the picture; Laura's name is published with a photo of their cat, Bella in 'Cutest Pets 2005.' She owned and operated the first day spa in her town before their popularity. A divorced mother of one; she endured pain most of her life. Rape/sexual, physical, emotional abuse; abortion, the death of her sister, (her only sibling). Neglected, rejected and hurt by those she loved and trusted; she abused herself masking her pain. Yet she never lost hope, or faith. She believed in God, but didn't know Him; thus, the life she created was built on sand. In the storm of cancer at age 38; she read Scripture for the first time. After a few short years and countless hours of study; she's a new woman - born-again, growing in the image of Christ! Today, she has victory over all she endured. Dedicating her life leading others to the cross. Boldly sharing her honest struggle to fill a void - blind to the answer that was close to her heart all along. A guest speaker on TV ministries, groups and schools. She loves talking to kids regarding issues she's lived. The mom of an Anorexic w/Bulemia, and 'cutting.' An expert in narcotics with 30-years of chronic pain and anxiety. A cancer survivor then hit by a car; disabled and on food-stamps. She's had it all and lost it all; lived without God and today - God's Spirit dwells in her. Despite circumstances; she's filled with the peace, joy and the love of Jesus Christ - a blessed child of The Living God.
