About the Book
Settling in the West is a story of three young Kate, the youngest of the girls moved to Kate misses her sister and feels that Mary needs support after she receives a letter from her saying Tom was in the nursing home… again. Sean came to Kate’s assistance when she had a car accident, whilst driving through Sean realised that he was in danger of losing his family, home and way of life. Sarah was the middle sister. She only ever yearned to marry and settle down in Deceit is a turbulent love story full of twists, turns, murder and deceit. Did Dr Burrows murder his wife or is Det. Fisher setting him up? Fisher is besotted with Martha who is the childhood sweetheart of Dr Burrows.

Ann Cullen was born in
In 1962 Ann married a
In 1987 she joined the Birmingham Post & Mail as a copytaker, where she worked until she was made redundant in 2007. She had many articles, theatre and holiday reviews published.
She wrote a cookery column for 18 months for a local Irish community paper.
In 2002 she wrote a short cookery book A Taste of Ireland based on meals her mother and grandmother cooked. Her book is available at Birmingham City Library.
Ann is a frequent visitor to the West of Ireland where two of her daughters live. She lives in Erdington,
Deceit and Settling in the West is her first book of short stories. Ann is currently working on a novel.
