About the Book

Since the use of Prepositions is one of the most difficult parts of the English language for an ESL student, Ogrinc saw the necessity to create a series of booklets to help better understand the “unusual” logic in their application in a variety of instances. By going through these pages of exercises, the learner will gradually discover the pattern of usage. It is hoped by the end of the booklet, the use of these common English words will become clearer.

About the Author

Franc Ogrinc earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of British Columbia and taught French, Spanish, German and ESL (English as Second or Foreign Language) in B.C. public schools for over 20 years. His linguistic ability as a speaker of several languages and his experience with English as a Second Language (ESL), as a student and an instructor gives him a unique perspective. His enthusiasm for languages has prompted him to develop this practical curriculum for use by teachers and students of ESL.
