Some times sad, sometimes funny and often thought provoking; this poetry was written in Wales with its rain, coasts, mountains and its long history of creative arts.
About the Author
Hilda Moriarty is a parent, her four children are referred to as 'gemstones' in the title poem. She is also a grand parent, teacher and poet. She has spent most of her life in South Wales, where she has developed a profound respect for her Celtic heritage. This is reflected in the poems she writes, which have been written along the way, through a full and busy life, in moments of reflection and pondering amid the beautiful setting of the Welsh landscape.
