Old Whin though, he had lived a bit, that’s for sure. For a smoker, hitting eighty was fantastic. To some, that’s an inspiration. The number of times I’d heard that smoking and drinking must be good for you, because meat and fish are smoked to keep longer and vegetables are pickled, you’d think it were true! It was an odd motto to live by, but hey, these were the old boys at the pub, so if they thought it, who was I to argue?
Determined to compose myself before the car arrived, I searched for the time. An hour to go till it all kicked off. That’s not too bad. I can cope with that. I’m used to hanging around. That’s really all I ever do. Apart from that though I still seem to have people needing me. I feel I share so many secrets.

Anna Hyndman-Lahna lives in Essex with her husband Damey, three daughters and Beryl the cat. Anna spent 20 years working in the travel industry gathering huge character and situation references which she has used in great detail throughout the book.
GRAEME
Graeme Milne lives in Surrey with his wife Lucy and 2 kids. After growing up in Scotland Graeme travelled the world for 4 years which is when the idea for the book formulated.
