Don’t be a roller coaster Christian!
Isaiah 40:4 - “Every valley shall be lifted and filled up, and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked and uneven shall be made straight and level and the rough places plain.” Amplified
Life will take you on a ride if you let it, but God will keep you on flat ground. Through painful experiences with our daughter and my health, I learned to trust and not ride the roller coaster of life. Peace was a prize I desired, therefore, I put my confidence in the power of Jesus Christ and chose to rest in His Word.
Silence can be your best defense during difficult times. Simply choose not to talk about the things you cannot change and give it to God. At the same time, change the things you can to improve your situation. If you don’t know what to do, do nothing. Wait upon God, He will deliver you.

About the Book
"An Hour with Donna" is a Christian devotional book written to encourage Believers as they go through daily challenges in their personal life. Donna Renfro has a weekly radio program called "A Minute with Donna." This book is an accumulation of sixty radio minutes.
About the Author
Donna Renfro is the founder and minister of "The Word Works!" ministry. She was in an auto accident on December 23, 2004, which revealed multiple diseases in her body. Even though Donna is permanently disabled, she continues to testify and teach the Word of God.
Donna is married to Kevin Renfro. They have two children, Micah and Miranda. Donna has a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education and taught in public education for four years.
Donna Renfro was ordained as a minister on January 28, 2007. She and her husband, Kevin, desire to help people know Jesus and grow closer to Him every day.
