The last stop was the Fletcher Mansion. The stone mansion was dimly lit and mysterious looking as everyone began walking up the curved driveway. Charles began screaming and would not go near the house. Sam’s mother walked to the house with everyone while Charles stayed on the sidewalk with Mom. Irma rang the door bell and an old man with a long mustache that curled up on the ends and short beard answered the door. Everyone said, “trick-or-treat” at the same time and Mr. Fletcher handed each child the biggest chocolate candy bar they had ever seen.

Everyone Loves Chocolate is a wonderful, wholesome, and positive Halloween story that focuses on a sister and brother as it incorporates the community, overviews rules, depicts a happy and loving family, includes sharing, deals with real feelings, and cheerful and surprise ending.
About the Author
Carleen Collins is an artist, writer, and photographer from Michigan who gives back of her time to the community. She has two children and is working towards her third degree to become a teacher. She has a great interest to inspire and teach children how to be creative by expressing themselves through music, art, and writing, which in turn, allows children to excel academically,develop socially, and promotes good health and a positive attitude.
