Kindergarteners from Vienna, Virginia meet an alien from outer space, outside their classroom. They decide to go with the alien for the day to outer space! They learn important facts about every planet! Join the children, as they embark on a journey that they will never forget!

About the Author

Kindergarteners from St. Mark Catholic School in Vienna, Virginia, were pushed to think outside their comfort zone.  Their teachers, Miss Gatbunton and Mrs. Timms, asked them to take what they learned from the outer space unit they just learned, and to compose a story about a trip to outer space.  They used tissue paper to create and add to their illustrations. This was a long process, but a wonderful experience for them.
