Chapter 1-Why Must I Be Saved? " Although she did not force her Jesus on me, the persuasion in her words of wisdom signaled to me that I needed to know her Jesus soon. But just as many others who have heard about Jesus and were introduced to Jesus, they have turned their ears and hearts away from coming to know Jesus as their personal Savior. Chapter 2- What is Salvation? "Salvation is a gift from God, through Jesus Christ, made available to all who repent (change their attitude and direction from sin) and be- lieve in Jesus,which prepares you for God's Kingdom. The gift of salvation can not be earned through good deeds or simply a " good person.' I know some of you may self- consciously say"I don't do any- thing wrong or I treat my fellow brothers and sisters right." Well that's commendable and honorable, but that's not salvation, that's not good. Chapter 3- How Do I Receive The Gift of Salvation? " The importance of this first step is highly essential for you to receive God's gift of Salva- tion. God's gift to mankind brought about the once-for-all eternally, effective self sacrifice of Christ, suffient to cover all the sins of the world and for all time. Jesus, by the way of the cross secured the salva- tion of all of God's people.Their past, present, and future sins were cover- ed by His blood. Salvation brought about grace and mercy for all of God's people who would accept His Son's sacrifice to the world. Chapter 4-The Holy Ghost And It's Purpose "Without the power of the Holy Spirit, you would not be saved long if you do not receive the Holy Spirit soon.

About the Author
He was born July 12, 1959 in Memphis,Tennessee at the John Gaston Hospital. During this time his parents, B.J. and Earnestine Adams resided at 20 East Colorado St. He is the third child out of ten siblings. He attended Hamilton High School where he graduated in 1977. He is a graduate of The National Academy of Paralegal School where he received an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies. He also attended the Charles Harrison Mason Bible College for a short period of time. He attended the Jacksons Studio of Music located in Memphis. He is married and the father of three children. He's the Pastor of The Greater Abundance World Outreach Ministries Inc., located in the northeastern part of the city. He's also the Minister of Music and Organist at the New Harvest Baptist Church in south Memphis. He has been a student of music since 1965. As a child growing up he attended the Tuckers Temple COGIC which is where he began his church experiences. Later his career in music lead him to join the Carnegie COGIC where he received the basics of the bible. As the church organist his pastor expected him to attend every service. Every week for about ten years he was right there taking in the knowledge of God's Word and learning more about Jesus. After he graduated from high school in 1977 he really began to study Gods Word. It became a part of his daily regimen. He couldn't put the bible down. Night after night he studied and researched the scriptures wanting to know more about God. Today he's ordained and holds credentials to preach the gospel in the COGIC Organizations and Baptist Institutions.
