In bed watching the sunrise Glisten off of the freshly dropped dew Dreading the soon to be outcome Another lonely morning without you A lot of my dreams realized Now I can only stare at the emptying cages As a way they flew So many words I didn't say Because I lived in assumption Believed I didn't have to say What I felt you already knew The emptiness, overwhelming We lost what we both surely had found I now stare at frozen images of you Body sinfully round Wondering if moments of us enter your mind While desperately wishing to have you around We gave up on trust It created more than doubt We let each other down A man of many hats Yet I can only manage to wear a fool king's crown As I lay here dying of heart break I feel the need to say this Its so long, so detailed This extravagant list of reminisce The way you laughed How you smelled Each and every kiss I know it was love Shame I only realize it now Now that you're missed Epiphany hits hard My heart commits suicide Bleeding life from both wrists In dying breath my heart Whispers your name As my eyes begin to mist
