Several years ago a friend gave me a book that made such an impact on my life that over the years I've thought about it over and over. It was the life stories of many different well known women and what God had done in their lives. The only problem with the book was that many of the women had not yet reached the 'golden years' and we had no way of knowing how their lives had really turned out.
When gathering the stories for this book, one thing is very clear. Most of us are not celebrities that have a great number of people that know us, BUT each woman is of great value in God's eyes and has been given her own life story and not two of the stories are the same. Sometimes we wish we could have a “do over” but when God made us, He gave us the temperament and the experiences and backgrounds that we have, because He wanted someone just like us in the world right now!
I have been blessed with many wonderful friends with very powerful life journeys. Some you may know and others probably not. Each one brings me back to the God who is in control and cares about our every need. When I thought about each of these ladies, God put on my heart that these life journeys needed to be shared.
I pray that as you read the journeys of these extraordinary ladies, that you will cry and laugh and relate, but most of all that you will see in each journey that our God is a God of hope, a God of second chances and that your own story could be a blessing to others also.
God wants to make our life an impact and our supreme desire should be to know God and to make Him known to others……..family, friends, neighbors and people you may meet only once.
The women in this book have shared the good, bad, blessings and disappointments that they have gone through in obedience to following God's path for their lives. Did they ever get off of that path? Which one of us hasn't?.........Their stories are all so different and yet have one common thread tying them all together. It is their love for Jesus Christ and a strong desire to walk with Him in obedience to God's word.
As you read about these ladies, think about your own journey through life and how God set you on that path. Think about the impact that your life has made in the lives of others around you. Where were you born? What was your family life like? What were the circumstances that lead you into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? How has that impacted your life? Would you feel free and willing to share your journey through life with others?

About the Author
SHARON SINGLETON is a homemaker, realtor, mother of three and grandmother of five who resides in Claremont, California. She has lived from coast to coast over many years and had the incredible pleasure of knowing the women you will meet in this book. Sharon felt that each of these women had powerful and exciting life stories to tell with one common thread tying them all together. It is their love for Jesus Christ and a strong desire to walk with Him in obedience to God's word and asked each woman to tell her own story in her own words.
