Christopher's mother loved children, all children, and children loved her. Each time she saw these two brothers and each time she listened to another troubling story she would say to herself, "I do not see Trouble and Double Trouble, I see a handsome seven year old boy with red hair and freckles and a good looking blond ten year old. I do not see Trouble and Double Trouble!"
