Although an adult, I still feel frozen psychologically, colored by normal child thinking when it comes to trauma-abuse related issues. Sometimes I unconsciously create acts of self-sabotage in an effort to punish myself for being responsible for the trauma. This in turn repeats the familiar cycle of chaos, a world gone badly again. If you understand this then you know there is, of course, a psychological and behavioral spectrum of how an individual will react over the course of his or her lifetime to trauma-abuse. Some people function well and can be high achievers. Others are more dysfunctional. For many, there remain remnants of that psychologically frozen child. I hope this book help my readers understand why I think and behave the way I do. I try to give concepts and tools to help people like myself to forgive themselves for what was done to them. I hope it give people guidance to get unstuck. The ultimate goal is to forgive yourself for what was done to you.  Begin to heal. …Experiences happen, but it is what we do with that experience that shapes our character.  You have the power to shape your reactions.  You have the power to change your belief system.  It’s all about your level of thinking and whether you will let your self have control of your life or whether you will let life control you.  Know who you are and realize that at all times the destiny of your life is in your control.
