Train Up A Child The life of one so small and sweet Should now be placed at Jesus’ feet. Give them to Christ at this young age And they will be blessed all of their days. As parents now you have the choice To stand for right to lift your voice, To tell your children what God’s truth is Train them now that they may live. This small life God gave to you What choice wills you make, what will you do? May I suggest you do your best To speak God’s Word and always confess, That the Word of God is always true Let your child know how it works for you. As they grow old with God’s Word in their hearts Your training will remain and God’s Word won’t depart. Thank You Mom and Dad You’ll never know the joy you’ve brought Into our hearts and minds, And how effective the word you taught… It’s God’s love that binds. You’ll never know how much we hurt When we disappoint you so, But because of love, God’s precious love In you both, that love does show. You’ll never know how blessed we are Because God gave us to you, He entrusted us in your loving care And gave you directions too. So today on your anniversary We’ve come together to show, Just how much we love you both We thought you’d want to know. Your New Blessing Now that you have this little blessing God has given you There are some special things Both of you must do. Nurture them daily with God’s Word The best things little ears ever heard. Teach them of love that comes from above, And God’s Spirit will rest on them like a dove. Raise them up in the way they should go And how to love others they will always know. Now you can expect joyous tomorrows For this “BLESSING” from the Lord Makes you rich And adds no sorrow. May all of your tomorrows be as happy and Blessed as the day God blessed you With your new baby . The Director & Me Let my life’s story begin What will the title be, It has to be something awesome I’ve got the perfect title, “The Director & Me”. The first scene is the beginning How I was born and did my own thing, I stepped out in life’s arena And experienced many wild flings. Scene two tells of my adulthood How I was seeking a place to fit, But the more I tried, the more I failed In despair I cried out, “I quit”. In the third scene I became broken I had no place to turn, Then I met a new Director Oh how He made my heart burn. He took me to the “script”ures And I began to see, In them I found that special love The Director had for me. Be Encouraged My Sisters & Brothers Be encouraged my sisters & brothers God is in the plan, I know sometimes it seems dark and drear But keep holding to His hand. Be encouraged my sisters & brothers You’re not walking alone, Shout praises to our God and King Because He will not lead you wrong. Be encouraged by sisters & brothers This battle is not lost, Remember you have a Savior Remember He’s paid the cost. Be encouraged my sisters & brothers You don’t have to walk in fear, For Jesus is walking with you And His peace is always near. Be encouraged my sisters & brothers Be Encouraged Father Please Forgive Me For every lie I’ve ever told Father, please forgive me. For everything I’ve ever stole Father, please forgive me. For every time I made you cry And You wiped tears from Your eyes Please, Dear God Forgive me. Now I know the pain You had When I did wrong it made You sad Still You gave to me the best You had As He hung there He said….I Forgive you.
