About the Author
M. J. Darby’s love of literature since childhood has been an inspiration for several works of fiction including her contribution to Under the Oaks, An Acadian Anthology published in 2000 at South Louisiana Community College. A Louisiana native as well as wife and mother, Ms. Darby has a rich background in Cajun culture and has transformed many life experiences into unique and contemplative poetry. She lives and works in Kansas in the field of Education and has received a degree in English Education from Northeastern State University.
