About the Book

We all know about germs and viruses.  Deep within our psyches there is a horror of not being able to see or touch what might be around to kill us.  The world has shrunk to a very small place where what affects one part can soon consume the rest of us.  This is a dark thriller for a sleepless night…too exciting to put down.

DI Marc Stuart excels in Drug Enforcement for the Sydney Police.  His wife, an easier target, becomes a revenge killing…unable to retaliate as the killer has vanished, Marc goes to Hong Kong to investigate the Triads seeking to gain a foothold in Australia.  He discovers an evil plot originating from the days of Mao Zedong.  Marc flies to London to seek a Chinese agent called Clive Young who is alleged to possess a deadly virus to spread in the UK, only to find he too has disappeared.  Instead he meets his wife, Jennie Young and life for him will never be the same again.  He persuades her to come to Hong Kong with him…but then Jennie is kidnapped…

Other forces are at work and soon the deadly virus is not only loose in China but the world has to face an Epidemic…

About the Author

Curiosity is her middle name and researching unusual facts then building a story round them portrays a mind that has a leaning towards murder and mayhem.  Primarily an artist, trained in restoration of Fine Art she laid down her brushes when she and her husband retired and began to write.  After sundry articles, poetry and composing a magazine she began to chart a different path towards stories.  Then following a bad accident keeping her on crutches for some two years her computer became her best friend and she really tuned into writing novels.  Perhaps this was where her bloodthirsty nature came to the fore and she made a success of it!
