Tear Drops is a collection of poems about the difficulties we often face along life roads. its ups and downs and the constant questioning of oneself, and how the answers are often unfold with time and having enough faith to believe that tomorrow will bring a brighter day. The book touches on topics such as child abuse, abortion, domestic violences, and getting over a broken heart. Tear Drops is a reminder to all of us how strong the human spirit is, and how we have the ability in each and everyone of us to get through anything no matter how powerful the force.
About the Author
A native of kingston, Jamaica, Denise R. Smith migrated to the states along with her family in 1991 at the tender age of eight years old. She now reside in Connecticut for the pass eighteen years, where she works as a production assistant for a local news station. She holds a B.A in business management and is certified in radio and television broadcasting.
