About the Book

“Been there, done that!  You wrote my story.  Please tell me when it’s going to be published!”  These are just a few quotes from many people.  Some have cried when editing or reading it for the author, others have just pushed her to ‘hurry up and get it out there!’

Marie Claire was born to a simple woman, had to cope with a drug and alcohol loving uncle, and had an alcoholic stepdad.  She went through rapes, beatings, and ran away to live with her best friend and her family.  The book ends with Marie Claire learning to train, show, and own horses.  These animals become the love of her life.

So many children have been in similar circumstances.  We trust that Marie Claire’s story will enlighten your life, comfort your heart,  and know that the story continues in the sequel, Before the Music, where her adventures will surprise you.

About the Author

She survived childhood and marital abuse.  With a  deep faith since a teen, she became a strong woman, a more loving person, and has been able to help anyone who comes to her to talk about their circumstances.   This book is meant to help those in similar circumstances.

Though not an autobiography, but nevertheless true as to events, this ficitional story will allow the reader to come away knowing that whether Christian or not, there is a way to persevere and to strive for something better.  This particular author has found more friends, more opportunities to help children out of abuse and into loving homes, and more self satisfaction than she ever felt would come her way..

There is love, hate, self loathing and self loving, and so many outside influences that have enlightened her life than she could ever think would be there for her.  She has honored those in her life, throughout her story, who have been her saviors on this earth.

This is a must read for those who love success stories, or stories of the underdog.turned top dog.  Though not egotistical, our auithor is amazed at the encouragement she's had to write this story of her life, and  the feedback she has gotten from family and friends alike to get it out so "we can read it already! We're excited."  Our author has been told many times that 'you have written my story.  I can hardly wait to read it!'  Enjoy, dear reader, and contact me if you'd like:  don'ttellbaby.blogspot.com
