About the Book

America: Truth Vs. Illusions of Grandeur is an extensive ecopolitical treatise that delivers an intense overview of the key social maladies that plague today’s world-- and their historical American, European, colonial, economic and ideological roots. It also provides a clear, bold and visionary formula and strategy for redemption. This is all engagingly presented, not only from an African American perspective, but from a cosmopolitan reality intended and guaranteed to stimulate and enhance the intellect of any reader regardless of ethnicity.

About the Author

The author is a product of the inner-cities of America. His background and analytic acumen providing the inspiration and fundamentals for the production of this book are not rooted in (nor constricted by) traditional academic paradigms, but rather 45 years of ongoing informal study, research, activism, travel and life experience. His personal and working associations with African American stalwarts such as Stokely Carmichael, Herman Ferguson, Amiri Baraka, et al are reminiscent hallmarks of his youth. Traumatic but fortifying persecution, exile, judicial entanglements and incarceration were brought to him consequent to his intimate involvement with the Black Panther Party and the social upheaval of the 60’s and 70’s. Over the years his keen grassroots insight and interpretation of key national and international circumstances and discord, have expanded far beyond the issues of race and deep into the historical, economic and political roots of global disharmony-- and the radical solutions it demands.
