About the Author

I was born in Montgomery, Alabama to Mr. Loveless Sr. and Linnie Babies.  One of six brothers and four sisters, it was not easy, but not as difficult as it could have been.

I grew up loving football, I also played in a marching band. My school was closed in 1970 because of integration.  I was forced attend another school.  Everyone would always tell me how golden my arm was and that I should compete for the quarterback position.  I wanted to play quarterback  for my new high school, but due to much racism at the time, that position was not permitted for me.

Because of several issues at school, I was eventually dismissed from the team.  After graduation, I entered the U.S.M.C.

There is where I saw how good my throwing arm was.  It was a rocket, and very accurate.  But it was eventually dislocated, as well as both hips.  I was not the same since.

I have been married for thirty-four years (2008) to a very beautiful as well as pretty young lady and we have three beautiful children (one daughter and two sons).  A beautiful daughter-in-law and grand-daughter.  After serving four years in the U.S.M.C., I decided to make Montgomery, Alabama my permenant  home.  I am very happy that I did.

I have been involved in some high school acting as well as play directing, which I really did love doing.  One of my favorites parts was playing the role of "Othello," a character in one of Shakespeare's plays.

My first writings was in 1987, entitled "It Could Have Been Me".  However, I never published it due to personal circumstances.
