About the Book
The personal voice of one's joy and pain can be music or noise. These poems push, scrape, tickle and entice the reader with images that echo the mystery of family, friends, work, war, and love.
"If the poet is an "intensified man", these poems are a tribute to a man intensifying himself honestly and with unforgettable linguistic skills. Lickson sees and hears everything as occasioning a poem and his insights, rhythms, and metaphors make all that IS new and unforgettable."
