I can feel someone very powerful coming to kill us. Moses had his sword glowing orange and he plunged his sword into the ground. Then he was suddenly engulfed in fire. I guess whoever attacks him better think twice or they might burn themselves. The light that Moses produced also gave us a better view of our surroundings. I actually saw something scurry off into the shadow of a building to avoid the light that Moses was emitting. Suddenly, we saw a guy walking towards us and as usual he had a sword around his belt buckle. From the way he carried himself, I would guess he’s a nobleman. The sword in his hand, I would guess that he’s a Souldier.
“The Crystal Sword is letting me see into his heart. His heart is the blackest that I’ve ever seen. And his sword has its own bloodlust.” Mary said.
The guy started drawing his sword from his sheath very slowly. We kept our fighting stance just to make sure that we were ready if he attacks. Obviously this guy is no friend of ours, but we certainly can’t attack him unless he attacks us first. We don’t want to fight any unnecessary battle.

About the Book
This novel is written from a first person point of view. The author decided to have Michael, the main character, to have the same personality as that of the Archangel Michael. At least as much as he knows about the angel. In this story, Michael is a 17 year-old high school student who was fated to wield an extraordinarily powerful weapon called the Phantom Sword. With it, he joins the ranks of Souldiers and hopes that he will be able to live up to his duties when it comes to restoring peace back into the world of Eden. Eden is another world, similar to ours. The only difference is that the people there seem to live in Medieval times. Everyone still lived in huts and castles and didn't have anything modern that we take for granted. Another aspect that differentiates Eden from our Earth is that the time there flows faster. In the world of Eden, malevolent forces are trying to conquer Eden and they seem to be on the verge of victory. The only ones stopping them from total domination are Michael and the Souldiers.
