About the Book

Alternatives@is an unique short story and first-hand anecdotes of chiropractic medicine.  Dr. Tom Clayton, a highly respected chiropractic physician in the small community of Deerfield, Illinois, unexpectedly finds himself a defendant in a law suit having been accused of inducing a stroke and subsequent death of Nancy Holt by adjusting cervical vertebrae in her neck..  After enduring a tense jury trial Tom devotes his life and practice to educating people as to the many advantages of alternative approaches to the treatment of disease as opposed to the use of toxic drugs and invasive surgery.  Not only does he educate patients in his office but soon finds himself conducting open seminars in a local school auditorium.  He takes dead aim at the pharmaceutical industry exposing the cholesterol myth, discussing several successful approaches to cancer treatment without the devastating effects of chemotherapy, surgery or radiation and introduces proven methods of halting the progression of Alzheimer=s Disease.  Other topics include the multitude of toxins we inhale, inject, ingest and absorb on a daily basis, the evils of sugar and an unique approach to osteoporosis.

The book is factual, absorbing and thought provoking for everyone interested in their health.
