About the Author

Joyce Cogswell is a 72 year old retired nurse. She has worked in hospitals, nursing homes and public health. She started writing to heal. She is married and now divorced. She has five children and none of them are nurses. She retired when she knew she was too old and slow to work. She was on the cover of the June 1968 R.N. magazine.
