She credits her strong faith in God for giving her the grace of wisdom and endurance. Thanks to the insight provided by the Lord, she was led to grow further by attending bible study through her church. Her spirit continued to be enriched as she studied music by singing with the church choir for many years.  On a more secular level she also took classes to learn tax preparation and enable her to become a care provider for the elderly in the state of Maryland. During her many years at Maryland University she also took many other courses.
