“Love, Don’t let it Fade,” that sunrise at the beach, that sunset over the mountain, that beautiful bird feeding her young in the nest near the brook. That walk in the park holding hands with your love.
“Love, Don’t let it Fade,” is that note left under your dinner plate to find.
“Love, Don’t let it Fade,” is to feel the warmth of your love’s body next to yours.
To look into her/his eyes and know what each other is thinking without saying a word. Whenever one think of “Love, Don’t let it Fade,” one can see all of nature, His beauty in this world for everyone to enjoy.
Love encompasses all things. There is a sunrise, a fish in a stream, a special Valentine’s love, a sunset, how you remember that special person when they are away. There is even love in a hurricane, or a rainy night’s storm.
The book will inspire the reader to express their love for the special person in their lives.

This book of poems as the author sees it will open ones imagination to what you would like to express to that special person in their life, but may not always be able to say at that special moment.
“Love, Don’t let it Fade,” deals with one’s physical feelings, one’s spiritual thinking of God’s nature around them. One mental and emotional feelings. The book will express one’s intimate feelings as he/she may say without being so straightforward. In the Author’s thinking, this book of poems will open the Reader’s most intimate and special thoughts of that special lady or man in their life. Read it for your special enjoyment, read it to express your feelings and thinking to that close and/or special love in your life.
The Author hopes you will enjoy reading this book of poems as much as he has enjoyed writing it for you.
About the Author
The author was born number eleventh of eleven children of sharecropper parents. He grew up mostly on a farm. He was somewhat a loner mainly because he was the youngest of eleven children. This gave him time to do a lot of thinking about himself, the family and the world around him.
After finishing high school, by the way, he was the only one who graduated from high school of the eleven children. The author at an early age, wondered about the trees, insects, birds, and life in general. He began to put ideas together in his head, but did not write them down at that time. As an adult, he began to write little poems down, but never allowed anyone to read them.
As he fell in love, he would write his feelings towards the person he was dating, and this led to writing other poems. He started to write about streams, trees, birds the sky and many other objects of nature and his surroundings. He would encompass these things and express his feelings for that special person in his life. He saw all of these things as a form of love for his special lady and how God has put all these special things in our world to love and enjoy.
One day as a special friend read one of his poems, she wanted to know if had thought of publishing them for others to read, because she thought they were good and should be shared.
The author is an ordained minister who has pastored two churches, and at present is a Clinical Chaplain for a State Correctional Institution, and has been for 19 years. He is married and has three children, and five grandchildren. He graduated from high school, seminary with honors, and he finished four units of Clinical Pastoral Education.
