About the Author

We have two authors:

 

Esther Myhan, is a college graduate, an entrepreneur, an award winning short-story author of a childrens book and is co-author of “The Man Behind the Name.’ She has held several writers workshops on cultural awareness and “You Control Your Attitude” seminars

She is a wife and mother, has been a foster parent for over nine years, a mentor for foster parents and a foster parent trainer.

Esther is second vice-president of her local PTA, and worked the hotline for Domestic Violence when the program first began. She is a proud member of New City Fellowship Presbyterian Church and says her love for God and teaching children about him, is one of  her greatest pleasures.

 

Lucille Allensworth is a college graduate with degrees in Travel and Tourism and Business Administration. She has co-authored a book ‘The Man Behind the Name, The Life and Time of the Reverend Calvin White.” She is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has served as 1 Councilor in the Young Women’s Presidency, Relief Society Secretary, Relief Society President, Primary President and Activities Coordinator. Lucille is employed by the Tennessee Valley Authority

She is a loving wife and mother of three.

Lucille believes that Service to others will help you grow into the person you were meant to be.
