A true and poignant story of two "gurlz" who met and eventually fell in love.  A rare thing in the transitory world of TVs where love takes a back window and everthing is fuelled by sex, parties, prostitution, alcholol, and drugs.  They even run-ins with the police.  It was a real roller coaster of a ride with so many emotional highs and lows, but they got there in the end.  They found a love that transcended sex, and as Misty said most gurlz would give their back teeth for a relationship like that.  But life is fragile and Misty's husky voice became her biggest challenge.  She beat the demons of cancer and was about to be reunited with Mandy after eight long weeks, but sometimes fairy stories don't have happy endings.

About the Author

A unique diary that's an insight into the secret world of TVs and transsexuals.  In particular it's about Mandy (an escort), and her year long love affair with the late Misty.  There are glimpses of prostitution, parties, alcohol, and drugs   Then there were the other gurlz they met along the way as their bond strengthened.  They transcended sex which is a rare thing in the fragile TV world.  But life is fragile and just as they reached a full understanding of the meaning of love it was cruelly snatched away in the last minute.  Mandy tells it the way it actually happened, and with all the raw emotions that accompanied those last few tragic months.
