About the Author

   Phyllis Hobbs began her career in children's books by publishing "Lisa and the Dancing Shoes."  She enjoys reading to children, especially her three grandchildren.

   The author holds a B. S. degree in accounting and secondary education and a M.S. degree in elementary education.  She currently teaches in Oklahoma.
